The Activity feed shows a chronological record of recent changes across the firm so teams can audit what changed, where, and by whom.
Accessing the feed
Go to More → Activity. The feed covers the last 90 days by default. The default view on opening shows This week's activity.
What appears in the feed
- Task status changes (moved to Blocked, On Hold, Done, etc.)
- Task assignments, comments, and schedule/sprint actions
- Drawing status updates and review-cycle changes
- Vendor chase notes and status changes
- Review decisions (approved, revision requested, rejected)
- Vault file activity and project member changes
- Project chat events tied to work items
Each entry shows the event description, reference number, project, who made the change, and when. Blocked and On Hold events are visually emphasised with a colored left border so they stand out in the feed.
Filtering the feed
Filter by project, event type, actor, and date range (Today, Yesterday, This week, Last week, Last 30 days, Last 90 days). All filters update instantly without page reload. A search box filters by event title or project name.
The firm feed covers the latest 90 days and loads progressively as you scroll. For a single task, drawing, review, or vendor request, open that item's Activity tab to see its item-level timeline.
Item activity on the task panel
Open any task detail panel and use the Activity tab to see status history and related events for that item. Vendor request detail also has an activity timeline. The firm-wide Activity page (More → Activity) is a separate chronological feed across projects you can access — it is not opened via a “View activity for this item” deep link from every drawing row.
Role scoping
Admins see firm-wide activity. Managers and Contributors see activity for projects they belong to.
Before you start
- Confirm you can open the relevant page and that your role has permission to perform the action.
- Identify the project, drawing, or task context before you start so updates are recorded in the right place.
Workflow checks and quality guardrails
Checklist item 1: Follow the Activity Feed process in order and save frequently after each meaningful update.
Checklist item 2: Write enough context in notes or comments so another teammate can understand the change without asking you.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Skipping ownership or due-date details, which makes reporting and follow-up unreliable.
- Updating status without adding context, which creates confusion during reviews and handovers.
Troubleshooting
- 1Troubleshooting step 1
If an action is unavailable, verify role permission and whether required upstream fields are completed.
- 2Troubleshooting step 2
If expected results are not visible, check page filters and refresh to confirm synced state.
